DuPont’s participation at drupa 2024 was a celebration of its fifty-year commitment to innovative solutions for the global flexographic printing industry. The company showcased its flagship product line – Cyrel® Flexographic Solutions – aimed at addressing today’s packaging and printing trends, and to keep perfecting flexo together with its customers.
The show was a superb platform to demonstrate the company’s commitment to the industry and celebrate the Cyrel® legacy with its customers and partners. Sustainability was this year’s expo’s focus, reflecting the global print market’s key driver, and DuPont rose to the occasion by incorporating sustainability into its innovations. All Cyrel® plate manufacturing sites currently use 100% renewable electricity, enabling the company to reduce its carbon footprint by 50% by 2030 and achieve carbon-neutral operations by 2050.
DuPont unveiled its newest thermal processing platemaking equipment, the Cyrel® FAST 1000 TD, which serves the Tag & Label and Mid-Web Flexible Packaging segment. It has been designed to meet the needs of operations with space constraints yet incorporates advanced features from the popular 2000 TD and 3000 TD machines. Cyrel® also added two new plates to its portfolio, the Cyrel® EASY FAST EFM and the Cyrel® Lightning LSE, showcasing its commitment to product innovation.
In addition, DuPont released Cyrel® University, its new on-demand video training program, offering interactive video courses in six languages to help its customers reduce errors, train new hires, and keep top plate room and press room talent on the cutting edge. The program also allows Cyrel® operators to become ‘Cyrel® Certified,’ distinguishing them from their peers.
drupa 2024 proved to be an excellent platform for DuPont to showcase its commitment to the printing industry and flexographic technology. Cyrel® Flexographic Solutions, proudly acknowledged the expo’s significance as the world’s leading trade fair for the printing industry.
