At PacPrint Esko Graphics demonstrated how its complete package of solutions can revolutionise the entire print, label and packaging process to deliver significant efficiencies for businesses. The end result is significant performance increases, greatly reduced error rates and waste, exceptional quality control and profit maximisation on every single job.
“Our systems incorporate everything from project management, design and prepress to automation engine and inspection systems for presses. Our software solutions connect all the processes to create an ecosystem that delivers exceptional performance through digital transformation,” said Scott Thompson, Sales & Marketing Manager, Esko Oceania.
Automation Engine, the new browser-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), is the only workflow that automates the requirements of different printing techniques (digital, flexo, offset…) to feed all your presses – so only one production file is required for combination print jobs. Standardisation of processes reduces errors and serves to optimise the entire pre-production workflow. The most recent version incorporates VDP enhancements and Esko’s AVT print inspection system, which offers the latest in on-press colour and quality management.
For label converters, the AVT iCenter effortlessly manages quality and production standards across jobs, printing equipment, shifts and sites. It was developed to deliver more functionality for the company’s integrated software and hardware range, as well as more value to packaging, label and wide-format customers. The Cloud-based platform works with Esko’s Automation Engine and AVT Helios automated inline inspection solutions for label and narrow web printing.
The AVT banner also includes options for wide web packaging applications, print inspection solutions for 100% process and quality control as well as process control for packaging web printing applications.
At the show, Esko also demonstrated how to protect your consumers and your brand by controlling the quality and accuracy of artwork from a single, integrated workflow platform with WebCenter. This powerful, user-friendly online workflow tool manages the process of content creation, from specification to approval and distribution.
It has the flexibility to handle simple projects or manage big campaigns that include multiple projects. WebCenter allows you to efficiently manage your content process by leveraging a flexible workflow that integrates with other tools in the content lifecycle.
As Thompson observed: “Esko Graphics can completely transform and fine-tune a customer’s operations now and well into the future.”
