Fujifilm Business Innovation Australia and Fujifilm Australia joined forces at PacPrint under the banner of ‘Welcome Change’ to promote transformative thinking and a broad spectrum of innovative technology to help businesses automate, streamline and prosper in the changed world of print and work.
“The world’s changed and so have we. As market leaders, we want to lead by example and help our customers prosper in this new print landscape,” stated Chris Lynch, General Manager of Graphic Communication Services at Fujifilm Business Innovation Australia.
To keep its customers ahead of changing times, at PacPrint Fujifilm Australia showcased its combined portfolio of industry-leading technology including the six-station Revoria Press PC1120 which produces striking colour combinations, including a wide range of metallic colours and natural skin textures.
There were two Acuity models demonstrated on the stand. Visitors were impressed with the high-quality, high productivity super-wide platform of Acuity Ultra R2, which uses Fujifilm’s renowned Uvijet UV inks and is available in LED and Mercury curing configurations. The Acuity Prime flatbed printer offers outstanding image quality and excellent adhesion to a broad range of rigid and flexible media. It is supported by five dedicated vacuum zones and jettable primer.
Customers were also introduced to the next generation of the Versant series – the 3100i and 180i presses. New features across both presses were celebrated as more flexible, smarter and simpler ensuring optimised productivity for Australian businesses looking to quickly build on their print capabilities. The Versant i series makes light work of heavy stocks and longer sizes with the new Air Suction Feeder, which has been introduced as an add-on capability to support broader media handling and increase wider print applications
For visitors looking for workflow solutions to win new business, cut costs, expand into new growth markets and generate bigger margins, Fujifilm demonstrated Workflow Automation (powered by FreeFlow Core), a browser-based solution that intelligently automates the processing of jobs, from file preparation to final production.
Web-to-print and Cross-Media Marketing Services (powered by XMPie and Aleyant Pressero) are a suite of software solutions and integrated cross-media marketing platforms that allow customers to create and manage online web-to-print storefronts and marketing portals.
Colour Management was addressed with the Oris Lynx colour management system which combines technology, software and training to accurately and consistently achieve the highest quality in colour output.
A range of thought-provoking ‘Welcome Change’ Seminars were hosted in Fujifilm’s on-stand theatre throughout the show and were well-received by attendees.
