GMS Pacific, a leading provider of printing consumables, tooling and equipment has announced a partnership with Sandon Global to supply its leading range of anilox rolls and cylinders for flexographic, lithographic and metal decoration print industries to the Australian market. The partnership means that GMS Pacific’s Australian customers will have access to anilox rolls and cylinders renowned for its quality, longevity and consistency.
“Sandon Global is a dedicated and focused manufacturer of anilox rolls and cylinders,” says Andrew McNamara, Managing Director, GMS Pacific. “Covering all key market categories for anilox – including narrow, wide web, flexographic, corrugated and coating – Sandon’s well-earned reputation for quality and service is clearly evident in everything it does, every cylinder it manufactures.”
The partnership between GMS Pacific and Sandon Global comes as GMS Pacific was looking for a reliable partner to deliver the type of quality anilox that Australian label and packaging manufacturers need and deserve.
“We have always looked for quality products, supported by a company that invests in its products and drives innovation to create the best value and opportunity for its customers,” says McNamara. “We researched the market and felt there were a lot of ‘me too’ products, that are good products, but not really focused and looking to drive the future. We were introduced to Sandon Global through an industry contact, who indicated the company may be looking for new representation in Australia. Both organisations share similar values, so it is a really good fit.”
“Sandon Global is proud to partner with GMS Pacific,” says Jake Roberts, Regional Sales Manager: UK, Ireland, Asia & Australasia, Sandon Global. “Both our companies are committed to setting the standard in our industry from customer service through to the delivery of quality products that meet the needs of our customers. We are a dedicated anilox manufacturer run by a team that pursues quality, longevity and consistency in everything we manufacture. We never compromise on the quality of our products. In our new research, development, and manufacturing facilities, we even control the chemistry of the ceramic coatings we use and constantly invest in research and development to ensure we are providing market-leading solutions fit for the industry of today and tomorrow.”
Sandon Global was founded in 2004 and very quickly became known as an advanced manufacturer of new and refurbished anilox rolls and sleeves, supplying narrow web and wide web printers from its specialist UK-based engineering facility.
“We control every aspect of the manufacturing process so that we can ensure the quality of the finished product that we deliver to customers,” says Roberts. “We are ISO 9001 accredited, export to over 53 countries worldwide and have secured numerous awards for the quality and innovation of our products. We believe our level of innovation and quality control is certainly what sets us apart, and why our products perform so well.”
“We know that Australian labels and packaging producers expect a high standard from their machinery,” he adds. “The Australian market continues to grow and we believe that we can support that growth by partnering with GMS Pacific, which represents a significant number of market-leading brands. Together, we can help our Australian customers get value for money, better production quality and longer duration from their anilox.”
Where it is anticipated that GMS Pacific and Sandon Global will have an immediate impact is in the flexo market. GMS Pacific holds a strong position in this area, and Sandon Global is already recognised as a market leader across the globe, particularly with flexographic printers.
“At the simplest level, you want your anilox to be ‘invisible’ in your printing process,” says McNamara. “Something that just works consistently every time. The quality and longevity of Sandon global anilox are well documented. You can trust this product to work.”
The partnership between these market leaders has already started, with Jake Roberts touring Australia and New Zealand as part of the partnership agreement to meet customers and talk more about the quality and longevity of Sandon Global anilox.
“We at Sandon Global are committed to meeting the evolving needs of our customers,” says Roberts. “They know they can rely on us because we never stop developing and improving our products. We look forward to delivering next-generation anilox solutions to Australian customers to enable them to achieve more success with their businesses as we move into 2023.”
