Graph-Pak now the ANZ distributor for RE S.p.A.

by Matthew Callahan

Graph-Pak has secured a significant four-year distribution agreement with RE S.p.A. expanding its product portfolio to include the RE range of brakes, web guides, web viewing systems, mechanical chucks, safety chucks and load cells. T

“This strategic move positions us to better serve our customers in Australia and New Zealand, and further strengthens our market presence in the region,” said Graph-Pak Owner Tom Ralph.

The distributorship was formerly held by David Trigg. The two engineers had worked together for the last 25 years, firstly at Edward Keller and then with David handling the engineering requirements for Graph-Pak in Adelaide, while Tom moved into sales. Poor health forced David to retire recently, and what better custodian than his friend with whom he has attended every trade fair for the past two decades?

“This is another blue chip agency that has come on board for Graph-Pak,” Tom noted. “I want to make David proud of his decision to pass the business to us and also recognise the vote of confidence from the team at RE in Italy.

“Our engineers are involved with RE products on a daily basis, so it was an easy decision to partner with RE and add this famous business to our portfolio. It further complements our commitment to supplying great after-market solutions for existing and new clients.”

RE Sales Manager Vittorio Pugliese expressed his pleasure to have Tom Ralph and the Graph-Pak team representing the Italian business.

“We are thrilled to embark on this promising collaboration, following a recommendation from our esteemed friend David Trigg. We are confident in the technical prowess of Tom and Anthony Arcuri from Graph-Pak, who bring a wealth of experience to the table. We are committed to providing top-notch customer service and support,” Pugliese said, reinforcing the expertise and dedication of the Graph-Pak team.

Half a century of excellence

The Graph-Pak and RE teams were able to catch up at drupa, which was particularly significant for RE as it was celebrating its 50th anniversary. Founded in 1974 in a small basement in Milan, RE S.p.A. has grown over the years to become a globally recognised multinational company.

The focus at this year’s drupa was the launch of ReVision NET, the new state-of-the-art web viewing system designed for print quality control. This cutting-edge technology is designed to capture and reproduce every printed detail on the monitor with unparalleled colour accuracy, even in the most complex processes.

Visitors also had the opportunity to explore the RE web guiding system, known for its quality and reliability, besides solutions for web handling and web tension controls. A demo machine gave visitors a first-hand experience of RE’s innovative solutions.

“drupa has always been a milestone for RE S.p.A., a place where we have shared successes and innovations,” observed Stefano Mercante, Marketing and Communications Specialist at RE S.p.A.
