Labelexpo Americas marks the debut of the HP Indigo V12 digital press, which will allow label converters to continue outgrowing the label market by a factor of three. By changing their mindset to Indigo first and flexo second, HP claims brands will be able to benefit from an agile and sustainable supply chain without compromising print quality or packaging innovation.
“The V12 will change the math of label printing; the sweet spot of HP Indigo print will grow to cover 70 – 80% of a label converter’s job basket,” said Eli Mahal, Head of Labels and Packaging Marketing, HP Indigo. “The HP Indigo V12 digital press printing side-by-side with the HP Indigo 6K, the HP Indigo 8K and the mid-web HP Indigo 25K digital presses will allow for customers to run an extremely efficient digital label factory, grow their business and diversify into shrink sleeves, pouches and web 2 pack.”
HP Indigo is also showcasing a wide range of products for sustainable packaging, automation and applications propelling new business opportunities.
All4Labels Global Packaging Group is one of the first beta customers to install the HP Indigo V12 digital press, leveraging its capacity to deliver innovative and customised solutions that allow all customers to adapt to the fast-changing markets.
“With more than 25 years of experience in leading digital transformation across the labelling and packaging industry, All4lLabels will deploy the first HP Indigo V12 digital press to commercialise one of the most revolutionary, sustainable and versatile digital production technologies for the labelling and packaging industry,” said Massimiliano Martino, CTO at All4Labels. “Together with HP we are now ready to shape a new era of digital printing by welcoming the HP Indigo V12 digital press into our core of operations.”
