At Labelexpo Americas KURZ, along with its subsidiary H+M and partner Pantec, presented a unique collaboration in label embellishment demonstrating the combined expertise in transfer products, stamping tools and stamping machinery (RHINO E®) brought to life.
Visitors were able to discover how the classic LUXOR® product line continues to set the standard in embellishment, offering timeless elegance and reliable performance. Building on this tradition of excellence, innovative finishes are becoming increasingly important, especially when it comes to visually highlighting premium products at the point of sale.
A standout feature at the KURZ booth was the new SILVER LINE®, designed to elevate packaging with its sophisticated silver-metallic light effects. This finish introduces a luxurious 3D effect, offering both reflective and matte options for full-surface or detailed partial decorations.
SILVER LINE is highly versatile and can be effortlessly integrated into existing production systems through methods such as hot stamping, cold transfer or digital finishing. This collaboration has produced three distinct label designs for plastic vitamin jars, white wine bottles and craft beer cans. These labels feature a range of stamping effects, including flat stamping, various relief options, and micro embossing, ensuring maximum shelf appeal.
KURZ sets the industry benchmark for sustainability
In line with its long-standing commitment to sustainability, KURZ presented its slim program at Labelexpo Americas 2024. This initiative focuses on reducing the thickness of PET transfer product carriers from 12µm down to 6µm while maintaining KURZ’s renowned quality. By minimising carrier material usage for the decorative layers, the slim program achieves significant resource savings and lowers environmental impact.
