Melbourne-based Australian label printer Labelhouse, has collected three awards at last year’s L9 World Label Awards which were announced in the last week. The company was a winner of a World Label Award for Offset Line/Screen for its “Alpine Cider Pink Lady Dry 330ml” label. It also collected two Honourable Mentions (HM) in Flexo Line for the “Daylesford & Hepburn Mineral Springs Co Sparking Mineral Water 750ml” label and a HM for Flexo Wine/Spirits for the “Pietro Gallo Estate Grappa di Prosecco” label.
Labelhouse General Manager Ben Testa, said the entire plant was thrilled to win so many awards in one year. “I would also like to thank the brand owners of these fine products as well as the designers including John Jewell, from John Jewell Design, for their brilliant designs which allowed us to really push the envelope, and showcase many of the new techniques we have been working on to make our customers’ labels stand out.”
The other Australian printer to win an award was Multi-Color Australia winning the Wold Label Award in the Digital Printing class for their “1L Misto EV Olive Oil” label.
