In a majour coup, Maxteq has secured the Nilpeter label press agency for Australia and New Zealand. With a legacy stretching back over a century, Nilpeter is a highly respected brand in narrow web.
Maxteq has been appointed as the Nilpeter agents in Australia and New Zealand, and is justifiably delighted. Prior to this, for many years, Nilpeter has handled sales in ANZ from their regional office in Bangkok and have now decided to engage a local partner to further support Nilpeter’s growing installed base and to drive future sales. Maxteq‘s long experience within the narrow web industry under Technical Director Andrew Maxwell, and its proven ability to successfully build quality brands within the ANZ market, was instrumental in the appointment.
Denmark-headquartered Nilpeter has over 100 years’ experience in the printing industry and has grown into one of the world’s leading narrow web press manufacturers, with its FA , MO and FB-lines so highly regarded. The company’s success has been built on a solid base of innovation and engineering quality and today, represents a true global brand including digital offerings with the Panorama.
Nilpeter has manufacturing sites for label and flexible packaging presses on 3 continents and 5 technology centres located in Denmark, USA, Thailand, India and Brazil. The technology centres provide a facility for prospective Nilpeter customers to test and interact with the latest technology. The facilities are also available for Nilpeter’s industry partners and co-suppliers to test new technology trends in a convenient location.
New wider press for flexibles
Whilst the Nilpeter MO and FA presses will be well known to most people in the industry, Nilpeter continues to develop innovative and industry leading technologies to enhance press performance and as such, the printer’s performance.
The new FA-line now comes in four press widths, the FA-14, FA-17, FA-22 ( 370mm, 450mm, 570mm) and the latest addition to the family, the 670mm web FA-26 for flexible packaging and label production. The FA-line has speeds up to 200 m/min ( 250 m/min for FA-26 ) and features proven innovations such as a free running impression roll, which, in conjunction with the servo-driven chill roll, provides superior print, tension control and web handling on a wide range of substrates.
All Nilpeter presses come with an intuitive user interface boosting performance and ease of use for the modern press operator.
