Nekkorb has proudly announced a new partnership with leading flexible packaging manufacturer Comexi to supply its state-of-the-art presses and services to the Australian market. The agreement means that labels and packaging experts Nekkorb will handle all sales of the Comexi range.
“Since 1954, Comexi has been a leading manufacturer of presses, laminators, slitters and other machinery and services for the packaging industry,” says Frank Brokken, Managing Director, Nekkorb Solutions. “Both our companies are committed to helping packaging businesses achieve optimum performance with state-of-the-art technology and service solutions.”
The agreement, which was signed in June, means that Nekkorb will represent the complete Comexi range of flexographic CI printing presses, offset printing, digital printing, lamination and coatings, as well as slitting and end-of-line solutions.
“Our mission at Nekkorb has always been to empower our customers with the technology, service and advice they need to achieve the best possible results,” says Frank Brokken. “We represent a stable of blue-chip brands that are the best in the industry. Partnering with Comexi adds to that stable of market-leading brands. It provides our customers with the opportunity to utilise high-quality, high-performance machines manufactured by one of the truly innovative companies in the industry today.”
Comexi does indeed have a well-earned reputation for market-leading technology. Only last year it released the 10-colour flexographic press, the F2 Evolution. The F2 Evolution is the first member of a new generation of flexo machines from Comexi that maintain the ergonomics and efficiency of the Comexi F2 presses. However, the F2 Evolution incorporates the latest GeniusTech developments to create a range of machines with improved efficiency, printing quality and less dependency on operators.
F2 Evolution is born as a GeniusTech native, which means that its design maximises the results of the GeniusTech solutions. The Deck design is focused on maximising the GeniusRun and GeniusDrive performance. It also includes new inter-colour and tunnel nozzles for the GeniusDry, the optimised GeniusFlow inking system, both in the piping and in the doctor blade, and a full integration of the GeniusPrint and GeniusData with Machine Learning.
Customer-focused goals a top priority
The partnership between Nekkorb and Comexi is a fitting one. Both companies are family owned, have decades of experience in the packaging industry and are recognised experts in their fields. “I have known the people at Comexi for some time now,” says Brokken. “We have had several discussions at different trade shows and events. This partnership is the result of mutual admiration and respect, as well as sharing like-minded goals to achieving the very best for our customers through expertise, service and support. We are both very proactive and move quickly to support the needs of our customers.”
The partnership means that Comexi clients in Australia – of which there are many – will be handled by Nekkorb for servicing and support. Says Brokken: “There are installations that are soon to be completed, which is very exciting for the new partnership and with Comexi solutions delivering exceptional results, we are looking forward to seeing clients enjoy those benefits.”
For Frank Brokken and the team at Nekkorb the partnership with Comexi is another endorsement from one of the world’s leading manufacturers. Representing MPS, Dupont, WINK, Esko, Zecher and a host of other leading brands, Nekkorb delivers solutions for its clients across the entire printing gamut.
“We have worked hard to be able to deliver solutions for anyone in the printing industry, especially for labels and packaging manufacturers,” he says. “Whether the operation is small, medium or large, we have the solutions that will help businesses achieve optimum efficiency. We take pride in being able to help our customers succeed and achieve their goals. Now, with Comexi, we can deliver greater performance capabilities to our clients.”
The partnership between Nekkorb and Comexi is an exciting one, especially for packaging converters looking to increase their capabilities and customer base. For Australian customers, the full Comexi range of products and services is available now through Nekkorb Solutions.
