At PacPrint, Trimatt Systems exhibited a range of automation examples demonstrating value added solutions, process automation, variable data, brand protection and zero defect production.
The designer and manufacturer of high-performance machinery for card producers, printers and packaging companies also took the opportunity to introduce the new Trimatt 1170 colour printer for short-run packaging. The all-in-one solution includes an integrated friction feeder, adjustable receiving tray and conveyor, making it a complete on-demand short-run colour digital printer with a speed of 27 metres per minute.
The Trimatt 1170 also features a cantilevered design allowing for larger media to be fed under the printhead when the 50.8 cm feed width isn’t enough.
The printhead is connected to its own computer and has precise manual height adjustment, cleaning cycles and network options. It also includes relay outputs that can start/stop feeders and conveyors when printing is ready to go.
The printer can be used for short-run, JIT production of high-quality printing of boxes, bags, coasters, napkins and more.
The new Trimatt 1170 colour printer is now available for sampling or demo in the Trimatt HQ.
