How Does it Work? The iTech CENTRA HS uses plotting technology that sends the die-line to the system directly from a vector file (like Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw). Print to cut registration is achieved by a registration (scan) mark that maps the file to the printed material. The result is a high-speed, roll-to-roll, digital converting system that allows users to laminate, die-cut, strip and slit custom labels in one production pass. It can die-cut any custom shape on demand, without the inherent costs, delays and limitations of more conventional die-cutting processes. The blade technology allows users to accurately cut and finish labels in ANY SHAPE or QUANTITY. A touch-screen interface makes operation and maintenance relatively easy and in-house. Comprehensive installation and support are provided.
Successful Pairing. The iTech CENTRA HS is sized to accommodate most label converters’ needs. It can convert printed materials from most digital or analogue print platform including inkjet, thermal printers or conventional presses. The benefit of the iTech CENTRA HS finishing system is that it can be scaled up or down depending on the requirement. It is ideally suited to label presses like the iTech SPECTRUM, EPSON SurePress L-6034VW, Konica Minolta’s AccurioLabel 190, as well as a range of other desktop print engines. The QLM Label Makers Group use the iTech CENTRA HS internally to finish off flatbed, thermal, desktop digital and the HP Indigo Press, dependent upon order size and urgency. The press choice is up to you – but your finishing options just got a whole lot easier.
