At Labelepo Europe Australian and Kiwi label printers will have the opportunity to see products from two of Kissel+Wolf’s principals – the Hanway LabStar 330S industrial digital single-pass label press and the iECHO LCT label laser cutter.
The LabStar 330S operates at a maximum speed of 50 m/min, with multiple modes available including a new seven-colour upgrade with an increased colour gamut up to 90%. The standard model offers white plus CMYK with an optional double white mode available. Also available are an optional two sets of colours: CMYK plus a choice of two spot colours from O, V, G as well as an optional additional colour unit for G/V or spot varnish, drip off vanish effect and other special effects. The integration of a cold foil lamination module creates digital foiling in one production line.
The press’s intelligent standby mode allows for instant production with no waiting for the machine to heat up. The intelligent operating system offers user-friendly and hassle-free operation, making it easy for one person to operate multiple machines effortlessly. Additionally, its order management system permits file loading without stopping the machine, providing flexibility for adding, inserting, deleting or reprinting orders.
The super cooling systems (for printheads, UV chill rollers) support sensitive materials such as thermal paper, heatshrink film and mono-film substrates. Over 90% of label materials can be printed without primer. Infinite print length allows for seamless pattern printing without any seam.
Precise micro-level integration of printheads ensures overall colour consistency over the web, while the automatic printhead maintenance function enables easy maintenance with minimal cost. Ink calculation software minimises ink consumption, allowing for precise cost control and reducing ink waste.
Johnson Tan, General Manager of Hanway, will be on hand at stands 9A30 and 3A66 to answer queries on the new LabStar 330S.
Attendees will also be able to have demonstrations of the iECHO LCT label laser cutter on stand 9C50.
As the distributor of these top-tier solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand, Kissel+Wolf is committed to ensuring its clients have access to the latest advancements at the forefront of label and laser cutting innovation.
