Just one of the features at PacPrint 2017 for HP and Currie Group was the new HP inks. Another was HP Indigo digital presses never seen before in Australia.
These included the HP Indigo 8000 Digital; the HP Indigo 12000 Digital and HP Indigo 7900 Digital.

The HP Indigo 8000, was on display for the first time in Asia Pacific. Its productivity with industry-leading speeds of up to 80mpm delivers capacity, superior quality and opportunity to narrow-web converters.
HP Indigo 7900 Digital Press, the market-leading SRA3+ format digital sheetfed, offers major innovations in print quality, including high-quality phtographic prints, a wide application range and productivity, as well as breakthrough priming technology; colour matching capabilities and media versatility.
HP Indigo 20000 arrives in New Zealand
The installation of the HP Indigo 20000 by
Award-winning Wellington-based printer Excel Digital, the first HP Indigo 20000 in the country, is destned to offer ground-breaking productivity and cost-efficient digital printing, thanks to its 76 cm-wide web, allowing 1870 sq.m of colour printing per hour.
For those wanting to run flexible packaging, labels and shrink sleeves, the HP Indigo 20000 now supports printing on aluminium and polyethelene and new substrates that expand packaging solutions.

Using HP SmartStream Mosaic technology, HP Indigo created over 3500 personalised and unique wine label designs from a street art seed file for pre-registered visitors to PacPrint.

HP Indigo continues to innovate and expand the possibilities with HP Indigo ElectroInks, with the new ElectroInk Premium White offering the right white for any application.
Also on display were the new HP Indigo ElectroInks Fluorescent Yellow, Green and Orange, along with a prototype High Definition Laser Array head, which will set a new benchmark for print quality.
Breakthrough Pack Ready Lamination:
HP Indigo Pack Ready Lamination is designed for flexible packaging printing on the HP Indigo 20000, 8000 and WS6800 presses. It provides strong laminate bond strength with zero curing time, for immediate pouch converting. First previewed at drupa 2016 and fast-tracked to a fully-developed commercial solution, it includes an HP Indigo Pack Ready Laminator and pack Ready Film.
Aimed to harness opportunity in the fastest-growing packaging sector, shorten time to market and cut waste costs, Pack Ready Laminator is set to ship by the end of the year.
HP’s patented Pack ready film contains a heat active polymer layer that mechanically interlocks with HP’s Indigo Electroink once sufficient heat and pressure are applied, allowingimmediate use.
