Leading Sydney-based prepress company, Independent Design and Graphics (IDG), has confirmed its expansion into Victoria through the acquisition of David Simpson Graphics in Melbourne. Established in 2000, Independent Design & Graphics has earned a reputation and leading market position for its world-class award-winning work offering the industry a high level of expertise and technology to handle the most demanding graphics.
IDG Directors, Fred and Joe Frendo stated that IDG already supply a large customer base outside of the Sydney market. “The recent acquisition is not only a sign of our support to our existing customers but a symbol of our commitment to potential new customers in a rapidly growing packaging market such as Victoria. We also pride ourselves on continuing the ideals and values through quality, service and integrity that have positioned IDG as one of the leaders in the NSW market and will replicate this model in Victoria.”
IDG Melbourne commenced trading the first week of January, headed by Stephen Barron and previous DSG staff.
According to Fred and Joe further technology investments are foreseen in this rapidly changing market place which will only enhance IDG’s position providing the market with the assurances that they need to grow their business.
