Two of QLM Label Makers Group Asian companies won a total of nine awards including three Gold Medals, two Silver Medals and four Bronze Medals at the 2023 Asian Packaging Excellence Awards held in Bangkok.
QLM Vietnam – Hoàng Hà Label Co., Ltd were the recipients of six Awards. The company’s Mensay Wine label took out Gold for Labels – Combination Printing while Hazey Pale Ale was awarded Gold for Mock-Up / Sample Labels. A further four Bronze Medals completed their haul.
QLM Label Makers Malaysia received three Awards: Gold for its Nasty Juice – Pineapple Lemonade Press entry in Digital Labels – 4-5 Colours, plus two Silver Medals.
QLM Label Makers paid tribute to the quality of printing from their HP Indigo printing platform. The Gold Medal winning entries were all printed on HP Indigo 6800 presses.
The 2023 Asian Packaging Excellence Awards – an annual highlight for the industry, were held concurrently with the SHIFT23 Conference. Organised by Print Innovation Asia and Labels & Packaging Innovation Asia, the Asian Packaging Conference is the region’s premiere labels and packaging event that brings together label and package printing converters and printers, designers, suppliers and brand owners. Marking its 20th edition, the one-day conference was also held alongside PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL and CorruTec ASIA – where industry stalwarts and subject experts presented thought-leading discussions and networking opportunities – all tailor-made to transform print and packaging businesses in Asia.
