Nick and Samantha Diplaris have an obsession – they are determined to achieve outstanding results for their clients and ensure orders are received on time, every time. This obsession with quality and service may be a mantra for many businesses, yet it is not always achieved. For DPI Printers it is the cornerstone of their success.
As the owners of a well-established professional printing and print consultancy business, the pair love dealing with people and enjoy delivering exceptional service at a competitive rate with an emphasis on providing the kind of service they like to receive. Their dedication to outstanding customer service and competitive rates distinguishes them in the industry.
The one-stop shop has a comprehensive range of services to offer from graphic design; print services for business cards, brochures, postcards, stationery, catalogues, presentation folders, newsletters, letterheads, vouchers, swing tags, labels, catalogues and promotional products; to digital printing including saddle stitching and stapling; as well as trade print services and binding options taking in bookbinding, booklet making and wire binding.
The Moorabbin company recently decided to capitalise its label business and has expanded its operations in the label and packaging sector with the purchase of a Quantumjet Lite digital printer from Gulmen Digital. “We recognised the advantage in dealing with an Australian manufacturer with local service backup,” noted Nick.
“Investing in the new Quantumjet Lite has made it easy for DPI Printers to build the label side of the business. Minimal training was required thanks to an intuitive colour touch screen that makes it easy to operate the printer’s functions. Basically, the time to get print on paper was instant. Once you navigate through the software and build profiles, only one hour of training was necessary.
“Not only does the interface simplify the operation and streamline the printing process, its seamless integration with various software and hardware systems provides access to real-time status of consumable levels, press components and environmental conditions, ensuring that you have complete control over your printing workflow, allowing for greater flexibility and customisation.
“The ease of use of its computer-to-print technology is the best part of printing on demand. I used to run old flexo machines. Now I don’t have to worry about waste, set-up, plates or washing up as the machine is fully automatic,” Nick enthused.
The state-of-the-art Quantumjet Lite is designed specifically for the production of high-quality labels or stickers and can print on various types of materials such as paper, PP/PE, metallic material and light cardboard up to 450gsm used for labelling and product identification in a wide range of industries and businesses.
“The high-capacity, high-volume industrial labelling machine ensures accuracy in high-capacity print jobs, producing consistent, high-volume output 24/7. Quantumjet Lite has tremendous capabilities and longevity for the label printing industry,” said Eddie Gulmen, principal of Gulmen Digital. “It can achieve print resolutions of up to 1600 x 1280 dpi and can be used for extended production print runs with low maintenance requirements.”
The acquisition demonstrates DPI Printers’ commitment to utilise advanced technology to improve efficiency and accuracy and keep their clients at the cutting edge.
“Customers appreciate the quick turnaround service and most importantly the quality printing premium, which have always been the cornerstone of our success,” concluded Nick.
