GMS Pacific has acquired substantially all the assets and inventory of All Print Technologies Pty Ltd (APT) with the intent to continue the business under the GMS banner. The well-respected Melbourne-based business supplying leading capital and consumable brands to the printing and packaging manufacturing industries in Australia was originally under the ownership of Meredeth Bastin, who has signalled her intention to retire.
This acquisition fits well with the strategic growth objectives for the GMS Pacific business to build a broader range of products and services to the key market segments in the printing and packaging industries. It will ensure continuity of supply to APT’s current and valued customers and will offer both GMS and APT customers a broader range of products and solutions moving forward.
“All future orders will need to be directed to GMS,” noted current APT sales manager Richard Lau, who will move to GMS to help ensure a smooth transition of the business.
