Graham Blackall has been appointed Label and Flexible Sales Manager for Durst Oceania in Australia and New Zealand. Formerly from Durst’s NZ distributor, Aarque, he will be based in Auckland and frequently travel to Australia to meet with new and existing customers.
Graham has described his appointment as ‘an exciting progression’ in his career. As a Trans-Tasman Business Development Manager, he is very familiar with the challenges of both markets. “I am looking forward to working closely with Australian and New Zealand companies in my new role and sharing the knowledge that I have gained over many years,” he noted. “There is a huge opportunity for Durst inkjet technologies to benefit businesses that are looking to differentiate themselves from their competition. Durst is continuing to innovate further and is the clear leader in the market.”
Durst Oceania’s Managing Director Matt Ashman says, “Graham brings significant experience across several print disciplines and represents the trans-Tasman footprint for Durst Oceania.
“His expertise and knowledge in the label production category are unparalleled, and this is why he has been appointed as Labels and Flexible Packaging Sales Manager responsible for sales of the Durst Tau product range in Australia and New Zealand.”
Other recent additions to the team are Dan Mantel, who was appointed to Technical Sales in November, and Darcy Ellerton who was named Field Services Engineer in January. They join Julian Lowe, who has been Sales Manager Large Format Print and Textiles since May last year.
