Datamark Identification has been operating in Australia for over 20 years and is an expert in a wide range of printing industry technologies and consumables. Its aim at PacPrint was to sign up new resellers and it now boasts 68 resellers.
The company operates as a hardware distributor on behalf of many top brands and offers an extensive range of products and support to their resellers domestically and abroad. Solutions range from labels for pharmaceutical and health care, transport and logistics, warehouse management, information technology, food and beverage, agriculture, retail and grocery.
The Brisbane-based company distributes a range of high-quality thermal printers and ink jet coding equipment from Datamax-O’Neil, Labelmate and Source Technologies, as well as a complete range of consumables including plain blank labels, thermal ribbons, printheads and coding inks/solvents for a broad range of industries. It is also a distributor for Labelmate unwinders, rewinders, label dispensing machines and VIP colour printers.
Label management is catered for by Seagull Scientific’s Bartender label design software created to transform information into labels, barcodes, RFID tags, smartcards and documents that drive business and improve safety, security, efficiency and compliance. Datamark has just been awarded recognition for best distributor Australia-wide.
Taiwan Semiconductor (TSC) is another respected brand in its arsenal of products. “TSC boasts strong engineering capabilities, rich industry experience, complete technical support and reasonable pricing, which together create the value of these products for users,” observed Kelly Jensen, Business Development Manager at Datamark Identification. “Whether it is desktop, industrial, mobile barcode printers or its accessories and supplies, TSC products stand out for their user-friendly design, stable operation and unmatched durability,” she added.
“Their products range from small desktop models to large industrial machines. All the printers operate at 200, 300 and 600 dpi and are available with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. They are a very cost-effective product and a fair bit cheaper than our opposition.”
In the current climate, securing an efficient supply chain is an important consideration. As TSC manufactures its own chips, Datamark does not experience delays in receiving products such as printheads or spare parts. “Lead times for TSC are fantastic. Our Brisbane warehouse is full of stock at the moment.”
